Lance was saved as a freshman in college. He was actively involved in his church and he served as one of the freshman bible study leaders for the University of Kentucky Baptist Campus Ministry during his senior year. Upon graduating from the University of Kentucky in May 2023, he started as the student pastor at Buena Vista. Lance's passion is to share the message of Christ with students and guide them in their spiritual growth.

Cynthia was saved at age 28 and has been involved in the ministry all of her life. She served as a missionary in the Philippines for many years with her late husband. Since then, she has remarried and is now married to Pastor Wayne. Together they serve at Buena Vista Baptist. Cynthia has a heart to reach children with the Gospel and to strengthen and support our families. In addition, she oversees our church's women's ministry. She and Pastor Wayne have a total of 6 children and 10 grandchildren.

Jerica came to know Christ and was baptized at a young age. She has been involved in church her whole life and has served in many different volunteer roles. Jerica and her husband, Sterling, have two young children and spend much of their time at sporting events together. She has lived on Herrington Lake for 30 years and is happy to be close to home, serving Buena Vista Baptist in the secretarial role and meeting and connecting with members of the church.
